The College Charter makes you aware of the standards that you can expect from the college. As a student you are expected to observe the following Code of Conduct:
- Treat with respect all staff, students and visitors to the college.
- Attend all classes regularly and punctually.
- Get a message to your course tutor as early as possible if you are absent.
- Complete all course work (assignments and homework) on time as required by your tutors.
- Avoid making outside appointments during time-tabled hours.
- Pay any money owing for fees, examinations, materials, etc. promptly.
- Note that the college has a “No Smoking” policy.
- Contribute to a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Have regard for the property of other students, staff and the college.
Do not:
- Take part in anti-social or illegal behaviour.
- Eat or drink anywhere within the college except in the designated areas.
- Bring skateboards on to college property.
- Bring your bicycles into any of the college buildings. Please secure them outside where they are not blocking any access points.
In exchange we will:
- Provide regular supportive teaching
- Mark and set work regularly
- Help you gain worthwhile qualifications
- Offer advice and be available when needed
