Training courses for businesses and employers throughout Powys

A number of local businesses involved in the motor industry have recently taken advantage of the training development opportunities at Coleg Powys, Newtown, when a number of employees were enrolled as day students on a Motor Vehicle Diagnostics course.

As one of the few IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) centres in the area, Coleg Powys is actively responding to an increasing demand for such courses, due to the developments in the technology of most standard modern cars.

Those taking part in the recent training found their own skills and knowledge were in for a session of fine tuning! The course covered aspects of sensor diagnostics using the latest Picoscope digital oscilloscopes & software, covering equivalent training to that offered at NVQ levels 3 and 4.

This is one example of a training course being set up to meet the needs of local businesses. If you have any specific training needs please get in touch and we will look into running an appropriate course.
