If you study Agriculture or Agricultural Engineering with Coleg Powys you will get practical experience on the college’s own working farm, Fronlas, on the edge of Newtown. The farm has excellent resources; modern machinery and its own livestock. You can join an Apprenticeship scheme including basic husbandry, accounts and enterprise management or do one of the many short training courses designed to give you expertise and certification for particular skills.
