The sports courses available in Brecon and Newtown give you the high level skills and knowledge to pursue a rewarding career in a number of specialist fields or to progress on to university. You will have the chance to play team sports as members of the sports academies and the college has excellent links with governing bodies of a variety of sports. Many of our sports students go to study for a degree and we are also proud of the number who go on to play at National and International level. Your course will cover subjects like bio-mechanics, the effects of conditioning and the application of science to sport performance, whilst also allowing you to develop practical skills in your chosen sport.
