Who is this course for? Studying for the AAT Accounting qualification will give you the skills to work in many different companies and organisations as accounting is the cornerstone of all businesses.
Previous knowledge required: A working environment relating to accounting or previous basic accounting knowledge is desirable.
What will I study? The units covered are; Recording Income and Receipts, Making and Recording Payments, Preparing Ledger Balances and Initial Trial Balance, Supplying Information for Management Control, Working with Computers, Achieving Personal Effectiveness, Contribute to the Maintenance of a Healthy, Safe and Productive Working Environment. Sage computerized accounts (OCN Level 2) is an additional qualification.

How will I be assessed? Students will undergo a number of skills tests, take one examination (June) and produce a portfolio.
What will I achieve? Successful candidates will achieve the AAT Accounts Foundation, NVQ Level 2 qualification.
